We install wood floors, or just refinish old ones. And we install linoleum flooring for lots of bathrooms and kitchens. I also build laminate counter tops from scratch or as an upgrade to an existing counter.
If you’re considering building a deck and you want it to last, look into pressure treated wood. According to Tacoma, Washington carpenters, pressure treated wood is protected against rotting, termites and fungus, so it will last a lifetime. This is a result of the process the wood undergoes which involves injecting chemical preservatives into the wood with pressure. After the procedure, the wood can last up to 40 years. However, Tacoma carpentry contractors warn that pressure treated wood is not waterproof. To achieve water protection you’ll have to apply a water repellant compound to the deck on a yearly basis.
