Hammerhead Construction
- Company Overview: Hammerhead Construction Inc. has been keeping clients in San Francisco and southern Marin County happy for nearly two decades. This full-service general contractor excels in custom interiors, cabinetry and furniture as well as fine finshes for homes, home offices and businesses. Our in-house artisans produce beautifully crafted products and custom finishes for discerning clients.
Our Crew
We recently expanded our crew. This extra manpower gives us the capacity to reduce the number of days on site, and to enable us to complete your project that much sooner. With over 22 years in the business, Hammerhead Construction has established an excellent working rapport with a very talented and diverse set of artisans and subcontractors. We are proud of the subcontractors that work on our projects. Each one excels in their craft, and has proven their good value and craftsmanship time and again.
Our Cabinet Shop
Hammerhead Construction owns and maintains a 3000 square foot cabinet shop in San Francisco. With skilled cabinetmakers working full-time, we are able to produce kitchen cabinets, home offices, custom furniture, and commercial installations for our discerning clients. I personally work very closely with my clients or their designers and architects to develop a design that works within your budget and that will result in a sophisticated finished product.
Liability - Protection
Hammerhead Construction carries liability and workman's compensation insurance on all its employees. To protect yourself from potential liability, be certain that all contractors and subcontractors that work on your project have this coverage. Did you know that if a contractor does not carry liability and workman's compensation, you are personally liable for the welfare of anyone who gets hurt on your property?
History
Jay O'Neil was born and raised in Newport, Rhode Island. A product of a family of hard working woodworkers and contractors, Jay revels in his profession and aspires to establish himself within the elite of his craft. The development of morals and ethics were as much a part of his upbringing as exposure to different aspects of the building trade. Photography is his second passion, which contributes to his strong aesthetic sense of design and balance.
