Work Description: Door Repair
Comments: John recaulked my French door and added some flashing to prevent leaking. The door is still leaking. I noticed that the bottom of the door where the sill meets the brick has not been caulked and this should have been part of the original repair job.

Work Description: INSTALLATION OF HARDWOOD FLOORS
Comments: I just had John working for a second time in my home. He installed almost 1,000 sq. ft. of new hardwood and cork flooring. The quality of work was excellent. Both he and his team were hardworking, quiet, meticulous, detail-oriented, and respectful. The guys working for him were very considerate and pleasant to have in our home. I plan to have John back for future projects and would recommend him to anyone considering high-quality and affordable home improvement projects.

Comments: Worked on 10/13/12. Said would be back 10/15 to finish because it was wet. No show on 10/15 or 10/16. Lots of excuses. Rushed home both days, he did not call, acted like he was doing "a favor", although charged more, and area now has 3 colors instead of one!!!

Comments: John was great to work with, his work is super detailed and he takes a lot of pride in it. He has an old time craftsman attitude that just getting the job done doesn't suffice... it needs to be perfect. Our home was a foreclosure that the builder took all the doors out of. John custom fit every door back into the house and fixed multiple poorly constructed items in the house. He was a pleasure to deal with and will get the call on the next carpentry project I have.

Work Description: We had a number of windows in our house that had wood rot on the bottoms. John came in and repair all the windows and wood rot.
Comments: John is the best contractor we have ever hired. He came on time and did the wood repair exactly as he said he would. We couldn't be happier with his work and his positive personality. We had some major rot at the base of our windows and had estimates for thousands or 10's of thousands to replace the windows. John was able to come in and repair all the rot and now the windows look like new. Would highly recommend John for any master carpenter job.

Work Description: Bookcase rework to accommodate a new TV.
Comments: I contacted John on very short notice to help with a bookcase rework to accommodate a larger TV I was having delivered in two days. John came out within hours to size up the job and give me an estimate. He arrived the next afternoon with the required supplies. The next morning he arrived right on time and was able to complete the job on time and right on budget. My TV arrived that afternoon and I was able to enjoy it with my family that evening. I highly recommend John and his work. He does great work and is a pleasure to deal with.
