Work Description: Our apartment's radiator covers were over 50 years of age, bent and twisted to boot. Jim Cunningham and his team of skilled carpenters brainstormed with us and came up with a solution for new covers that brought elegance and clean lines to our interior.

Comments: 1- They created graceful tapered openings at the bottom for airflow. 2- They sub-contracted with a custom lathe cut venting lines in the form of an oriental pattern from one of our rugs. ( I shot the pattern with my camera, and gave it to a Pratt student to render a drawing for the fabricator.) 3- JCC created a frame around the radiators out of MDF (med density fibreboard) which comes off looking like a hi end metal it's so smooth and slick), with a magnetic front panel that is spring-loaded and easy to remove. In this panel, the A/C peeps out from a window with curved inside corners. All in all- ingenious and gorgeous to the eye.

Work Description: The work was to cut the base of a large bed made of high quality wood into 2 parts and to place some links so the bed could be put back together in one piece.

Work Description: Jim build my company a booth for our trade show. It had to be a functional, free standing, hard wall piece that could be used over and over again. It was very detailed and had to be exact for it to work in the space. If the dimensions were off by even an inch it would not have worked and Jim made it to perfection !!!

Work Description: JCC was asked to build a large wall to be used for an art installation outdoors.

Comments: JCC was wonderful! I sent a request out and they responded within minutes. They were able to meet all of my requests with only 2 days notice. Not only were they available, they were able to supply all of the materials, bring them to the build location, and were there waiting when I arrived! JCC went above and beyond including offering to disassemble and dispose of the materials the next day when the event ended! I would recommend them to anyone!

Comments: May 25th 2011 It is with great pleasure that I write this reference on behalf of Jim Cunningham from JCC, Inc. Jim and his team constructed a built in wall unit for our living room, underneath the window, covering our heater and air conditioning unit. They also built a glass and wood cabinet for my kitchen, built a new door for a bathroom cabinet, as well as some miscellaneous panelling for some exposed areas of the kitchen. The workmanship done was excellent; the built in for the living was great in that they build sliding doors to cover the air conditioner unit, which is much more aesthetically pleasing and more functional, as there are no doors to get in the way. They are beautifully done too and we receive constant compliments from everyone who sees them. The cabinet in the kitchen is great too - as it is done in glass and wood, and gives a very open feel to the kitchen area. It is an oddly shaped area to put a cabinet, and Jim and his team were great about ensuring that it fit correctly. Jim was great about following up and wanted to ensure that everything was done perfectly. He has a great attitude and friendly demeanour, is very responsive, and his team creates a beautiful work product. He was a pleasure to work with and I have recommended him to a few of my friends. Comments: Jim Cunningham and his JCC Inc. team were consummate professionals in the installation of a fairly large finish carpentry project in our midtown NYC offices. Not only did they deliver a quality work product, but their work ethic, workmanship and attention to detail was impressive. Ours was a fairly complex project with a lot of delays and change orders. JCC was patient and flexible with us throughout. And, while being readily responsive to all of our demands and questions, their price was right as well (far out-bidding other price submissions). In short, JCC delivered a top finished wood product at a most competitive price in a timely fashion with impeccable installation in terms of effort and workmanship and completed the job under trying circumstances during a difficult build out. Suffice it to say that we would hire JCC again without hesitation.
